Your opinion?

I bought these shoes on clearance at the end of last summer. Not even sure where I got them (probably Walmart or Target) but they were only a couple bucks so I thought, why not? Today's the first day I've worn them. Isn't that awful? I can't believe I've had a pair of shoes for nearly a year and haven't worn them once.

The problem is the color. I just can't ever find anything to go with them. Today I was just getting my hair cut, so I threw on a black tank, a pair of jeans and these sandals. I think if I somehow colored them black (permanent marker, perhaps?) they might be wearable.

But I want more feedback. Can you think of any way to style these? Or should I spray paint/magic marker them black and hope for the best?

Let me know what you think!

  1. No, no, don't do that, leave the shoes alone, green isn't that bad, sometimes it can be outstanding!

  4. Oh! I never thought of that, because I haven't gotten around to buying white jeans yet ;) Looks like now I have no excuse, haha. To the store!

  5. No don't change them!!! I love the lime green! They would go with any jeans or shorts. They would add a pop of color to just a casual outfit on the go.

  6. Those sandals are perfect! Neon is so in right now. I think of crazy bright colors almost as a neutral because they don't really "match" anything so they can go with everything.

  7. Leave 'em! Neon is hot, Hot, HOT right now! Katy of Kansas Couture is wearing just a touch of neon today...I say style these babies in similar fashion (balanced with neutrals).
